Stay in this beautifully restored 1930s bungalow in Norman's historic Old Silk Stocking District. "The Vintage Charmer" offers 3 cozy bedrooms, 2 baths, and a fully fenced backyard. Enjoy modern amenities, original shiplap, and the soothing sound of nearby trains (without horns!). Perfectly located near parks, Main St. restaurants, breweries, and just minutes from OU. A unique blend of vintage charm and modern comfort awaits.

Good to know

This home was built in the 1930's and has gone through a complete restoration. Backyard is fully fenced, giving you total privacy. Both couches in the living room fold flat into beds. There is a master bath and a jack and jill bath. The kitchen has all new cabinets, with granite counters and subway backsplash. New windows installed to keep sounds of nearby train to a minimum. (the trains don't blow horns in Norman city limits). New lighting throughout. The shiplap in the dining is original to the house and still has pieces newspaper that was used to paper the wall. We have internet and a tv with fire stick, or unplug and play board games provided.

Other Details to Note

Pets Our pet-friendly policy applies exclusively to dogs. We invite up to two (2) potty trained dogs to accompany you. Please let us know that your furry friends will be joining you! We ask that you kindly clean up after your dogs in the yard. Complimentary dog waste bags are provided for easy clean up. We also ask that dogs are kept off of the furniture to guard against accidental scratching. Please be aware, any damages caused by pets are 100% the responsibility of the guests. Security cameras are ON at all times. WiFi and Other Amenities WiFi and other special amenity instructions will be provided to you in your Check In Guide.

• Please remember that our home is a peaceful get-away, not a party house. Parties of any kind are STRICTLY prohibited. • Absolutely no smoking on our property. • No loud music, inside or outside of the home. • No extra guests than those who are confirmed under your booking. • No moving or rearranging the furniture. • Quiet Hours begin at 10:00 PM out of respect for our neighbors. • No cats, birds, or exotic animals are allowed on this property. • Please do NOT remove any smoke detector or security sensor during your stay. These were installed for your safety. Fine: $50 fee per device removed. • We cannot accommodate an early check in or a late check out. Check In time is anytime at your convenience between 4:00PM and 10:00PM on your Check In Date. Breach of these rules will result in fees. • Unauthorized Late Check Out Fees * 0-30 minutes past Check Out time will accrue a $50 fee * 30 minutes - 1 hour past Check Out time will accrue a $100 fee * Any time spent past 1 hour after Check Out time will accrue an entire day’s base rate charge.

This policy is in place to protect our Sanitation Team's time in readily preparing and sanitizing the cabin in order to provide you and our next guests with a safe, clean, and suitable space. Thank you for your understanding! Breaching this policy with unauthorized Early Check Ins and/or Late Check Outs will result in extra fees. There is a locked owners closet, other than that you have access to any room.

Parking We offer parking space that is long enough for two (2) vehicles, one directly behind the other in front of the home. Detailed parking instructions can be found in our Check In Guide on your Airbnb App. Our neighborhood is historic, and we boast of its character and charm. Due to the historic build of our neighborhood, parking can be a challenge in certain areas. We suggest leaving The Vintage Charmer about 10-15 minutes early to scope out the perfect parking arrangements in the area. Be prepared to pay for public parking in some areas of Norman. Prices range from $0.75 to $5. Driving services such as Lyft and Uber are easily found in Norman. Another fun method of transportation (and our personal favorite) would be by e-scooter. You can find these scooters by downloading apps on your smart phone such as Lime, Bird, and Veo. These apps will show you where in the neighborhood unused scooters are parked for your use.
